Below are short statements of the vision, mission, and corporate objectives of the LBFCSI.
VISION
The Los Baños Faith Christian School, Inc. (LBFCSI) shall be recognized as a learning institution committed to provide quality education integrated with God’s perspective which will produce spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally, and aesthetically prepared students as members of society.
MISSION
To enable every Filipino or international student in Los Baños and beyond to acquire the basic skills, knowledge, habits, attitudes, ideas, and spiritual values to make them effective, intelligent, and God fearing members of society.
PHILOSOPHY
Each student, being created in the image of God, is of supreme worth and uniqueness and is therefore worthy of respect and deserving of dignity. Each student has a holistic nature, being-in-the world with others, possessing both an inherent and acquired capability for growth and creativity.
Quality education imbued with Christian values develops the uniqueness and dignity of each student and enhances the development of his/her full potentials. Thus, the school shall assist in this process of developing well-rounded, well equipped, and well-trained persons who can be of service to society.
OBJECTIVES:
- Provide experiences for godliness through the study of the Bible and the consistent learning of God’s relevance in one’s daily life.
- Provide learning situations that will develop moral character, personal discipline, civic conscience, vocational efficiency, and upright citizenship among learners.
- Provide teaching-learning experiences that will promote academic excellence in the languages, sciences, mathematics, arts, and physical education.
- Provide students with opportunities to discover and develop their God-given talents in various forms of music, art, and physical and manipulative activities in order to express themselves creatively.
- Provide learning opportunities that will demonstrate and help students develop their analytical abilities and critical decision-making skills in solving problems that they may encounter in their daily lives.
- Provide lessons that will make imbue in students the respect for other people regardless of age, sex, status, race, and beliefs knowing that all are creation of God.
- Provide vicarious experiences of actual life situations that will help students develop a sense of responsibility and an awareness of right and wrong, and to make the appropriate actions.
- Provide assistance to parents in accomplishing the God-given mandate to “… raise them with Christian discipline and instruction”(Ephesians 6:4).
